Chronology of cameras Canon
The Prima series was Canon's line of consumer compact cameras for nearly 20 years. Although the first model to bear the Prima name was the Prima Tele in 1988, the Top Shot in 1986 already foreshadowed the series. In fact, its American name is SureShot Supreme, with SureShot being the American equivalent of Prima.
These cameras are all easy to use (point and shoot), generally inexpensive. They are mostly made of plastic, with manufacturing often outsourced to China.

The appeal of the Prima mini was its size, as its name suggests. Its dimensions are compact, but its other features are quite ordinary, typical of its competitors.
The lens is a 32 mm, with an aperture of f/3.5. Autofocus is provided by three beams, with 415 steps. The shutter ranges from 2 seconds to 1/250. It has DX coding for film sensitivity. It's equipped with a multi-mode flash, with controls located on the side of the camera (two buttons). The ergonomics are straightforward.
